Friday 6th March This week at school we have been learning about the Titanic's journey across the Atlantic Ocean. In English, we learnt to use time adverbials e.g. " first", "next", "after that" and " finally" to sequence events. We learnt about the amazing facilities on the Titanic and learnt about the different activities that first, second and third class passengers could do. In Geography we learnt about St David's Day (which is on the 1st March) and the traditions associated with it. We located Wales and Cardiff on a map of the United Kingdom and recapped the names of the other countries that make up the United Kingdom. Phonics In Phonics this week we have continued to revisit our Phase 5 graphemes to develop our confidence in reading and writing words with these sounds.
