4th July

 Friday 4th July

This week at school, we have been focusing on our science learning and exploring forces. We investigated the forces needed to make bikes, scooters and balls and games equipment move, stop and change direction.  We explored how bigger pushes make vehicles and equipment travel further and recorded our ideas.

Phonics

In Phonics this week we have been learning to read and spell words containing the 's' and 'es' suffixes which are used to make plurals. We found out that if a word ends with a hissing sound (s, ss, sh, ch, x) we add 'es' to make the plural, otherwise we jus add 's'. (cat-cats, duck-ducks/ fox-foxes, church-churches)

You can watch a video about it here:
