Friday 17th October How animals use their sense to survive This week we really enjoyed our visit from Zoo Lab. We had a chance to hold and stroke some of the animals and learnt some interesting facts about how they use their senses. The animals that visited us were :- Giant African Snail Madagascan Hissing Cockroach Tree Frog Corn Snake Rose Tarantula Science/English You might like to ask your child what facts they can remember about the animals? In English we have been writing sentences about how these animals use their senses to survive. E.g. The corn snake smells with its tongue and feels with its skin.
